This is a great one
A young guy from North Dakota moves to Florida and goes to a big "everything under one roof" department store looking for a job.
The Manager says, "Do you have any sales experience?"
The kid says "Yeah. I was a vacuum salesman back in North Dakota."
Well, "Yeah. I was a vacuum salesman back in North Dakota."
Well, the boss was unsure, but he liked the kid and figured he'd give him a shot, so he gave him the job. "You start tomorrow. I'll come down after we close and see how you did."
His first day on the job was rough, but he got through it. After the store was locked up, the boss came down to the sales floor. "How many customers bought something from you today?"
The kid frowns and looks at the floor and mutters, "One."
The boss says "Just one?!!? Our sales people average about 20 to 30 customers a day. That will have to change, and soon, if you'd like to continue your employment here. We have very strict standards for our sales force here in Florida. One sale a day might have been acceptable in North Dakota, but you're not on the farm anymore, son."
The kid took his beating, but continued to look at his shoes, so the boss felt kind of bad for chewing him out on his first day. He asked (semi-sarcastically), "So, how much was you one sale for?"
The kid looks up at his boss and says "$101,237.65."
The boss, astonished, says $101.237.65!? What the heck did you sell?"
The kid says, "Well, First, I sold him some new fish hooks. Then I sold him a new fishing rod to go with his new hooks. Then I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down the coast, so I told him he was going to need a boat, so we went down the boat department and I sold him a twin engine Chris Craft. Then he said he didn't think his Honda Civic would pull it, so I took him down to the automotive department and sold him that 4x4 Expidition."
The boss said, "A guy came in here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a boat and a truck!?"
The kid said, "No, the guy came in here to buy tampons for his wife, and I said "Dude, your weekend's shot, you should go fishing."

Mr. Hi - Tech
A guy walks in a bar and sits down. He starts dialing numbers...like a telephone...on his hand, then talking into his hand. The bartender walks over and tells him this is a very tough neighborhood and he doesn't need any trouble here.
The guy says, "You don't understand. I'm very Hi-Tech. I had a phone installed in my hand because I was tired of carrying the cellular."
The bartender says, "Yeah? Prove it."
The guy dials up a number and hands his hand to the bartender. The bartender talks into the hand and carries on a conversation.
"That's incredible", says the bartender, "I would never have believed it!"
"Yeah ," said the guy,"I can keep in touch with my broker, my wife. you name it. By the way, where is the men's room? The bartender directs him to the men's room.
The guy goes in and 5, 10, 20, minutes go by and he doesn't return. Fearing the worst given neighborhood, the bartender goes into the men's room. There is the guy spread-eagled against the wall. His pants are pulled down and he has a roll of toilet paper up his ****.
"Oh my god!" said the bartender. "Did they rob you? Are you hurt?"
The guy turns to him and says, "No, I'm fine...I'm just waiting for a fax."

He tried doing something nice for his wife's birthday
A man was sitting on the edge if the bed, watching his wife, who was looking at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off he asked what she'd like to have for her birthday.
"I'd like to be eight again" she replied, still looking in the mirror.
On the morning of her birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Coco Pops, and then took her to Adventure World theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Roller Coaster, everything there was.
Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. He then was took her to McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake.
Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy M&M's. What a fabulous adventure!
Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted.
He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, "Well Dear, what was it like being eight again?
Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed.
"I meant my dress size, you idiot!!!"
The moral of this story: Even when a man is listening , he is gonna get it wrong.
Waiting For The Right Time
As EUR/GBP continues declining it is difficult to decide weather I should buy or sell a position.
Usually I will do both, but this time the movement is unpredictable. If there are any Forex traders that have any opinions on how the pair will move, please do let me know. It has been stuck below 0.69700 for a while now, and I have to make a decision by the end of the day. Hope there is feedback for this matter. Have a great day.

Be Humble
John worked at a meat distribution factory. One day, when he finished with his work schedule, he went into the meat cold room (Freezer) to inspect something but in a moment of bad luck, the door closed and he was locked inside with no help in sight. Although he screamed and knocked with all his might, his cries went unheard as no one could hear him. Most of the workers had already gone and outside the cold room (Freezer), it's impossible to hear what was going on inside. Five hours later, whilst John was on the verge of death, the security guard of the factory eventually opened the door and saved him. John then asked the security guard what he came to do there as it wasn't part of his work routine. He replies: "I've been working in this factory for 35 years. Hundreds of workers come in and out everyday but you're one of the few who greets me in the morning and says goodbye to me every night when leaving after work hours. Many treat me as if I am invisible. So today like every other day, you greeted me in your simple manner "Hello" at the entrance when resuming for work, but curiously after working hours today, I observed I've not heard your "Good bye see you tomorrow." Hence I decided to check around the factory. I look forward to your greetings every day because to you, I am someone, by not hearing your farewell, I knew something had happened. Then I sought and found you!
Moral lesson: Be humble, love and respect those around you because life is too short. Try to have an impact on people in ways we can't imagine especially the people that cross our path daily. Stay blessed!
*A Great Day*
Following up from yesterday.
As USD/JPY was stuck and wouldn't cross 123.600, it has finally risen above 123.900.
For me this is great news because I had bought the position and my profits are coming back.
For now I am planning to put a pause on it, as I am not really sure how the movement will be over night. Well just wanted to mention that the results became positive and I think I assume my vacation will be in August. Until then I will be posting more stories and of course funny ones as well. I would also like to ask for any opinions for a great place to have a summer vacation, looking for white sand beaches and not to pricey. Have a great day.

Only one move
A 10 year old boy decided to study Judo despite the fact that he had lost his left arm in a devastating car accident.
The boy began lessons with an old Japanese Judo Master. The boy was doing well, so he couldn't understand why, after three months of training the master had taught him only one move.
"Sensei" (Teacher in Japanese) the boy finally said, "Shouldn't I be learning more moves?"
"this is the only move you know but this is the only move you'll ever need to know," the Sensei replied.
Not quite understanding, but believing in his teacher, the boy kept training. Several months later, the sensei took the boy to his first tournament.
Surprising himself, the boy easily won his first two matches. The third match proved to be more difficult, but after some time, his opponent became impatient and charged; the boy deftly used his one move to win the match. Still amazed by his success, the boy was now in the finals.
This time, his opponent was bigger, stronger, and more experienced. For a while, the boy appeared to be over matched. Concerned that the boy might get hurt, the referee called time-out.
He was about to stop the match when the sensei intervened. "No," the sensei insisted, "Let him continue." Soon after the match resumed, his opponent made a critical mistake: he dropped his guard. Instantly, the boy used his move to pin him. The boy had won the match and the tournament.
He was the champion. On the way home, the boy and sensei reviewed every move in each and every match. Then the boy summoned the courage to ask what was really on his mind.
"Sensei, how did I win the tournament with only one move?"
"You won for two reasons," the sensei answered. "First, you've almost mastered one of the most difficult throws in all of judo. And second, the only known defense for that move is for your opponent to grab your left arm."
The boy's biggest weakness had become his biggest strength.
Sometimes we feel that we have certain weaknesses and we blame others, the circumstances or ourselves for it but we never know that our weaknesses can become strengths one day.
Each of us is special and important, so never think you have any weakness, never think of pride or pain, just live your life to it's fullest and extract the best out of it"
Knowledge
A giant ship engine failed. The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none if them could figure but how to fix the engine.
Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was young. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.
Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed!
A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.
"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"
So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."
The man sent a bill that read:
Tapping with hammer.............. $2.00
Knowing where to tap............. $9,998.00
Effort is more important, but knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference!
Little by Little
As I placed a buy position on USD/JPY I really thought that it would rise to 124.000 +.
All day today it has been stuck below 123.600 with very slow movement. This morning I was looking forward to my profits increasing. Well, just wanted to share with everyone what the movement is for USD/JPY, hopefully tomorrow morning I will gain more..Time will tell.
have a great day.
The Pharmacist was shocked when these two kids wanted to buy tampons. But their response is gold.
Two young boys waled into a pharmacy one day, picked out a box of tampons and proceeded to the checkout counter.
The pharmacist at the counter asked the older boy, "Son, how old are you?"
"Eight", the boy replied.
The man continued, "Do you know what these are used for?"
The boy replied, "Not exactly, but they aren't for me. They're for him. He's my brother. He's four."
"Oh, really?" the pharmacist replied with a grin.
"Yes." the boy said. "We saw on TV that if you use these, you would be able to swim, play tennis and ride a bike. Right now, he can't do none of those."

The Gold Fish Bowl
There is a 9 year old kid sitting at his desk and all of a sudden, there is a puddle between his feet and the front of his pants are wet. He thinks his heart is going to stop because he cannot possibly imagine how this has happened. It's never happened before, and he knows that when the boys find out he will never hear the end of it. When the girls find out, they'll never speak to him again as long as he lives. The boy believes his heart is going to stop, he puts his head down and prays- "Dear God, this is an emergency! I need help now! Five minutes from now I'm dead meat."
Ho looks up from his prayer and here comes the teacher with a look in her eyes that says he has been discovered.
As the teacher is walking toward him, a classmate named Susie, is carrying a goldfish bowl that is filled with water. Susie trips in front of the teacher and inexplicably dumps the bowl of water in the boys lap.
The boy pretends to be angry, but all the while is saying to himself, "Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!"
Now all of a sudden, instead of being the object of ridicule, the boy is the object of sympathy. The teacher rushes him downstairs and gives him gym shorts to put on while his pants dry out. All the other children are on their hands and knees cleaning up around his desk. The sympathy is wonderful. But as life would have it, the ridicule that should have been his has been transferred to someone else-Susie.
She tries to help, but they tell her to get out. "You've done enough, you klutz!" Finally, at the end of the day, as they are waiting for the bus, the boy walks over to Susie and whispers, "You did that on purpose, didn't you?"
Susie whispers back, "I wet my pants once too.2

The Son
Years ago, there was a very wealthy man who, with his devoted young son, shared a passion for art collecting. Together they traveled around the world, adding only the finest art treasures to their collection. Priceless works by Picasso, van Gogh, Monet and many others adorned the walls of the family estate. The widowed elder man looked on with satisfaction as his only child became an experienced art collector. The son's trained eye and sharp business mind caused his father to beam with pride as they dealt with art collectors around the world.
As winter approached, war engulfed the nation, and the young man left to serve his country. After only a few short weeks, his father received a telegram. His beloved son was missing in action. The art collector anxiously awaited more news, fearing he would never see his son again. Within days, his fears were confirmed. The young man had died while rushing a fellow soldier to a medic. Distraught and lonely, the old man faced the upcoming Christmas holidays with anguish and sadness. The joy of the season-a season that he and his son had so looked forward to-would visit his house no longer.
On Christmas morning, a knock on the door awakened the depressed old man. As he walked to the door, the masterpieces of art on the walls only reminded him that his son was not coming home. As he opened the door, he was greeted by a soldier with a large package in his hand. He introduced himself to the man by saying, "I was a friend of your son. I was the one he was rescuing when he died. May I com in for a few moments? I have something to show you."
As the two began to talk, the soldier told of how the man's son had told everyone of his - not to mention his father's - love of art. "I'm an artist," said the soldier, "and I want to give you this." As the old man unwrapped the package, the paper gave way to reveal a portrait of the man's son. Though the world would never consider it the work of a genius, the painting featured the young man's face in striking detail. Overcome with emotion, the man thanked the soldier, promising to hand the picture above the fireplace.
A few hours later, after the soldier had departed, the old man set about his task. True to his word, the painting went above the fireplace, pushing aside thousands of dollars of paintings. And then the man sat in his chair and spent Christmas gazing at the gift he had been given.
During the days and weeks that followed, the man realized that even though his son was no longer with him, the boy's life would live on because of those he had touched. He would soon learn that his son had rescued dozens of wounded soldiers before a bullet stilled his caring heart. As the stories of his son's gallantry continued to reach him, fatherly pride and satisfaction began to ease the grief. The painting of his son soon became his most prized possession, far eclipsing any interest in the pieces for which museums around the world clamored. He told his neighbors it was the greatest gift he ever received..
The following spring, the old man became ill and passed away. The art world was in anticipation. With the collector's passing, and his only son dead, this paintings would be sold at an auction. According to the will if the old man, all of the art works would be auctioned on Christmas day, the day he had received his greatest gift. The day soon arrived and art collector's from around the world gathered to bid on some of the world's most spectacular paintings. Dreams would be fulfilled this day, greatness would be achieved as many would claim, "I have the greatest collection."
The auction began with a painting that was not at any museum's list. It was the painting of the man's son. The auctioneer asked for an opening bid. The room was silent. "Who will open the bidding with $100?" he asked. Minutes passed. No one spoke. From the back of the roomcame, "Who cares about that painting? It's just a picture of his son. Let's forget it and go on to the good stuff." More voices echoed in agreement. "No, we have to sell this one first," replied the auctioneer. "Now you take the son?" Finally a friend of the old man spoke. "Will you take ten dollars for the painting? That's all I have. I knew the boy, so I'd like to have it."
"I have ten dollars. Will anyone go higher?" called the auctioneer. After more silence, the auctioneer said, "Going once, going twice. Gone" The gavel fell. Cheers filled the room and someone exclaimed, "Now we can get on with that and we can bid bid on these treasures!" The auctioneer looked at the audience and announced the auction was over. Stunned disbelief quieted the room. Someone spoke up and asked, "What do you mean over? We didn't come here for a picture of some old guy's son. What about all these paintings? There are millions of dollars of art here ! I demand that you explain what's going on here!"
The auctioneer replied, "It's very simple. "According to the will of the father, whoever takes the son gets it all.

Confidence Level
A story told by a man which is most frightening yet thought-provoking experiences of his life.
he had been in a long flight. The first warning of the approaching problems came when the sign flashed on: "Fasten your set belts."
Then, after a while a calm voice said, "We shall not be serving the beverages at this time as we are expecting a little turbulence. Please be sure your seat belt is fastened."
As he looked around the aircraft, it became obvious that many of the passengers were becoming apprehensive. Later, the voice of the announcer said, "We are so sorry that we are unable to serve the meal at this time. The turbulence is still ahead of us."
And then the storm broke. The ominous cracks of thunder could be heard even above the roar of the engines. Lightening lit up the darkening skies and within moments that great plane was like a cork tossed around on a celestial ocean. One moment the airplane was lifted on terrific currents of air; next, it dropped as if it were about to crash.
The man confessed that he shared the discomfort and fear of those around him. He said, "As I looked around the plane, I could see that nearly all the passengers were upset and alarmed. Some were praying.
The future seemed ominous and many were wondering if they would make it through the storm. And then, I suddenly saw a girl whom the storm meant nothing. She had tucked her feet beneath her as she sat in her seat and was reading a book.
Everything within her small world was calm and orderly. Sometimes she closed her eyes, then she would read again; then she would straighten her legs, but worry and fear were not in her world. When the plane was being buffeted by the terrible storm, when it lurched this way and that, as it rose and fell with frightening severity, when all the adults were scared half to death, that marvelous child was completely composed and unafraid.
The man could hardly believe his eyes. It was not surprising therefore, that when the plane finally reached its destination and all the passengers were hurrying to disembark, he lingered to speak to the girl whom he had watched for such a long time.
Having commented about the storm and behavior of the plane, he asked why she had not been afraid. The sweet child replied,
"Sir my Dad is the piolet and he is taking me home."
When you are sure of yourself, your confident level is steady and you are never shaky, you do the things calmly and successfully.

Sunshine and Palm Tress
So far so good, it has been a pleasant day. Sometimes we have our bad days and good days. Its about keeping a balance between both of them. At times I will think negative about my trades in the market, but today I chose to stay positive even though I was losing money. But somehow my trades turned around and I started making profits. Not a big amount, but I like I said before it is all going to fund my vacation. I have made my final decision for where I will be traveling to. Maui is the spot that I have been wanting to go all my life and it is all coming together now. I'm counting the days and there is only 30 + left. Well, must get back to my trades to make things happen. Have a great day
The Hidden Treasure
There lived a farmer if the village. He had five sons. They were all idlers and never helped their father.
They always quarreled among themselves. The father was very much sad and worried. he tried his best to mend their habits but all in vain. Once he was taken ill.
He called his sons. All of them reached there. He asked them to sit down and listen to him carefully.
The old father said, "My dear sons, I am weak and ill. I may die any moment. There is a lot of money hidden in our fields but I have forgotten where I had buried it. Dig that treasure out after my death."
The farmer died after two days. The sons dug every inch of the tend but could not find anything.
As the field was well ploughed some old man advised then to sow wheat in that. They had a very good crop. By selling the wheat they got a lot of money. Now they understood what their father meant. It was really the hidden treasure. From that day they worked hard and lived a happy life.

The Jewel Hidden In The Robe
Once upon a time there lived a man who had, as a friend, a rich public servant. One day the man called on his rich friend, who entertained him with food and wine. He became completely inebriated and fell asleep. The rich friend, however, suddenly had to set out on a journey involving urgent public business. He wanted to give his friend a priceless jewel which had the mystic power to fulfill any desire. But his friend was fast asleep. Finding no other alternative, he sewed the gem into the hem of his friends sleeping robe. The man awoke to find his friend gone, totally unaware of the jewel his friend had given him. Before long, he allowed himself to sink into poverty, wandering through many countries and experiencing many hardships. After a long time, now reduced to sheer want, he met his old friend. The rich man, surprised at his condition, told him about the gift he had given him, and the man learned for the first time that he had possessed the priceless jewel all along.
This is an allegory told by Shakyamuni Buddha's disciples as they reflect upon their ignorance if forgetting to develop the supreme life condition of Buddhahood and being satisfied with lower states of life.
No one has the right to take human life, which contains the "jewel" of the supreme life condition...
Let me expand upon the parable of "The Jewel Hidden in the Robe" in everyday terms. Take for example, the human tendency toward arbitrary faultfinding. Parents, seeing their children's small mistakes, yell at them, "You're stupid and hopeless!" Even adults come to hate each other vehemently for trivial reasons. Yesterday they were good friends or neighbors, and today they are bitter enemies...When one insults another, the other replies in kind. Totally unaware of the existence of the "Supreme Jewel," in other means that one cannot recognize it in oneself either. I firmly believe, therefore, that we all should fix our attention on this point.
Your children or neighbors can, in a sense, be a mirror which reflects you as you are. As often as not, when you blame someone for some fault, you may be simply seeing the dark part of your own life rather than a true picture of the other person. In Miyamoto Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa (1892-1962), Musashi, a famous master swordsman, tells a little boy named Iori as he gazes up at Mount Fuji. If you do not cater to the world but instead come to be respect worthy in and of yourself, then people will naturally recognize your true value,"
There are many people of advanced age who are living a life of satisfaction and dignity, enjoying a state of life as lofty as Mount Fuji. Their faces, without exception, all shine like the "supreme jewel," polished by having weathered all kinds of adversities in the course of life.

A Beautiful Story
A little boy went to a telephone booth which was at the cash counter of a store and dialed a number. The store owner observed and listened to the conversation:
Boy: "Lady, Can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?
Women: (at the other end of the phone line) "I already have someone to cut my lawn."
Boy: "Lady, I will cut your lawn for half the price than the person who cuts your lawn now."
Women: I'm very satisfied with the person who is presently cutting my lawn.
Boy: (With more perseverance) "Lady, I'll even sweep the floor and the stairs of your house for
free.
Women: No, thank you.
With a smile on his face, the little boy replaced the receiver. The store -owner, who was listening to all this walked over to the boy.
Store Owner: "Son...I like your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job."
Boy: "No thanks,
Store Owner: But you were really pleading for one.
Boy: No Sir, I was just checking my performance at the job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady I was talking to!"
(This is called self Appraisal) Give your best and the world comes to you!
It is possible to do good from wherever you are
An old man lived all by himself. He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden, but it was very difficult work, as the ground was hard. His only son, who used to help him was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament.
Dear Vincent, I am feeling pretty sad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my tomato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. I know if you were here my troubles would be over. I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me, like the old days. Love, papa
A few days later he received a letter from his son.
Dear Papa, Don't dig up the garden. That's where the bodies are buried.
Love, Vinnie
At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man received another letter from is son.
Dear Papa, Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances. Love you, Vinnie.

Stop Being A Glass Become A Lake
Once an unhappy young man came to an old master and told he had a very sad life and asked for a solution.
The old Master instructed the unhappy young man to put a handful of salt in a glass of water and then to drink it.
"How does it taste?"- The master asked.
"Terrible ."- spat the apprentice.
The Master chuckled and then asked the young man to take another handful of salt and put it in the lake. The two walked in silence to the nearby lake and when the apprentice swirled his handful of salt into the lake.
The Mater said, "Now drink from the lake."
As the water dripped down the young man's chin, the Master asked, "How does it taste?!"
"Good!"- remarked the apprentice.
Do you taste the salt?"- asked the Master.
"No."- said the young man.
The master sat beside this troubled young man, took his hands, and said, "The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less. The amount of pain in life remains the same, exactly the same. But the amount of pain in life remains the same, exactly the same. But the amount we taste the "pain" depends on the container we put in into. "So when you are in pain, the only thing you can do is to enlarge your sense of things. Stop being a glass. Become a lake."
Stop being a glass. Become a lake.

Finding a destination
As I received some questions about my binary trading I thought it would be nice to show one of my results from today. You can see I only placed $1.00 for each currency. I had 5 min to decide if the price will go lower or higher than the displayed price. Usually I place min of $10.00, but to show an example you can see I only placed $1.00 for each currency. By the way to all the people contacting me about the system, I am using FX TROLL from Infinity Space Inc. Well must get back to my usual routine, and look for some tickets for a vacation coming soon. Hope this helped the ones that were interested through my blogs. Have a great day!
A Marine's Father
A nurse took the tired, anxious service man to the bedside. "Your son is here," she said to the old man. She had to repeat the words several times before the patients eye's opened.
Heavily sedated because of the pain of his heart attack, he dimly saw the young uniformed Marine standing outside the oxygen tent. He reached out his hand. The Marine wrapped his toughened fingers around the old man's limp ones, squeezing a message of love and encouragement.
The nurse brought a chair so that the Marine could sit beside the bed. All through the night the young Marine sat there in the poorly lighted ward, holding the man's hand and offering him words of love and strength. Occasionally, the nurse suggested that the Marine move away and rest awhile.
He refused. Whenever the nurse came to into the ward, the Marine was oblivious of her and of the night noises of the hospital-the clanking of the oxygen tank, the laughter of the night staff members exchanging greetings, the cries and moans of the other patients.
Now and then she heard him say a few gentle words. The dying man said nothing, only held tightly to his son all through the night.
Along towards dawn, the old man died. The Marine released the now lifeless hand he had been holding and went to tell the nurse. While she did what she had to do, he waited.
Finally she returned. She started to offer words of sympathy, but the Marine interrupted her.
"Who was that man?" he asked.
The nurse was startled, "He was your father," she answered.
"No, he wasn't," the Marine replied.
"I never saw him before in my life."
"Then why didn't you say something when I took you too him?"
"I knew right away there had been a mistake, but I also knew he needed his son, and his son just wasn't here. When I realized that he was too sick to tell whether or not I was his son, knowing how much he needed me, I stayed."

He Thought It Was A Sign That They Should Be Together. But The Reality Is Gold
A women and a man get into a car accident, and it's a bad one. Both cars are totally demolished, but amazingly neither of them is hurt.
After they crawl out of their cars, the women says, "So you're a man, that's interesting. And I'm a woman...Wow! Just look at our cars. There's nothing left, but unfortunately we are unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should meet and become friends and live together in peace the rest of our days."
The man replied,"I agree with you completely; this must be a sign from God!"
The woman continued, "And look at this- here's another miracle. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of Mogen David wine didn't break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune."
So she hands the bottle to the man. The man nods his head in agreement, opens it and takes a few big swigs from the bottle, then hands it back to the women.
The women takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap back on, and hands it back to the man.
The man takes the bottle and asks, "Aren't you having any?"
The woman replies, "No. I think I will just wait for the police..."

Wisdom Is Stronger Than Strength
Once there lived a lion in the forest. He was the king if the animals. He killed many animals. The animals were in terror. They held a meeting. An old hare stood up to. He brought forth a plan. All the animals went to the lion. The animals told him that they would send one animal every day. The lion agreed.
One day, it was the hare's turn. he reached the lion late. The lion was angry. He asked the hare why he was late. The hare said that another lion had held him on the way. The lion told him to show the other lion.
The hare led him to a deep well. The lion looked into the well and saw his own image in the water. He took his image for another lion. He at once jumped into the well and died. The animals lived happily after that.

Discovering True Fear Spiritual Story
A sultan decided to travel by sea with some of his favorite courtiers. They joined the ship in Dubai and sailed out into the open sea.
However, as soon as the ship moved away from land, one of his subjects- who had never seen the sea before, having spent most of his life in the mountains- began to be overcome with panic.
Sitting in the ship's hold, he cried, shouted and refused to eat or sleep. Everyone tried to calm him down, saying that the journey wasn't as dangerous as all that, but although he heard their words, they had no influence on his heart. The sultan did not know what to do, and the fine journey upon calm seas and under blue sky's, became a torment for the passengers and crew alike.
Two days passed without anyone being able to sleep because of the man's cries. The sultan was about to order the ship to return to port, when one of his ministers, who was known for his wisdom, came over.
"Your highness, with your permission, I will be able to calm him."
Without a moment's hesitation, the sultan said that not only would he allow it, but that he should reward him if he succeeded in solving the problem.
The wise man asked that the man be thrown into the sea. Right away, content because their nightmares were about to end, several crew members grabbed the man struggling in the hold, and cast him into the ocean.
The courtier thrashed about, sank, swallowed plenty of seawater, returned to the surface, screamed louder than ever, sank again, and managed to surface once again. Hust then, the minister ordered for him to be dragged back on board.
From then on, no one heard so much as a single complaint from the man, who spent the rest of the journey in silence, and even commented to one of the passengers that he had never seen anything so beautiful as the sky and sea touching on the horizon. The journey -which had before been a torment to all those on board the ship-became a pleasurable, peaceful experience.
A short time before they returned to port, the Sultan went to see the minister:
"How did you guess that, by throwing that poor man into the sea, he would calm down?"
"Because of my marriage," replied the minister. "I was always terrified of losing my wife, and was so jealous that I never stopped shouting and screaming like that man.
"One day she could take no more, and left me...and I tasted the terrible experience of living without her. She only returned when I promised never again to torment her with my fears.
"In the same way, that man had never tasted salt waster, and had never known the agony of a drowning man. When he felt that, he understood only too well how marvelous it can be to feel the planks of a ship under his feet."

A touching story
There is a story many years ago of an elementary teacher. Her name was Mrs. Thompson. And as she stood in front of her 5th grade class on the very first day of school, she told the children a lie. Like most teachers, she looked at her students and said that she loved them all the same. But that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard.
Mrs. Thompson had watched Teddy the year before and noticed that he didn't play well with the other children, that his clothes were messy and that he constantly needed a bath. And Teddy could be unpleasant.
It got to the point where Mrs. Thompson would actually take delight in marking his papers with a broad red pen, making bold X's and then putting a big F at the top of his papers.
At the school where Mrs. Thompson taught, she was required to review each child's past records and she put Teddy's off until last.
However, when she reviewed his file, she was in for a surprise.
Teddy's first grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is a bright child with a ready laugh. He does his work neatly and has good manners...he is a joy to be around."
His second grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is an excellent student, well-liked by his classmates, btu he is troubled because his mother has a terminal illness and life at home must be a struggle."
His third grade teacher wrote,"His mother's death has been hard on him. He tries to do his best but his father doesn't show much interest and his home life will soon affect him if some steps aren't taken."
Teddy's fourth grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is withdrawn and doesn't show much interest in school. He doesn't have many friends and sometimes sleeps in class."
By now, Mrs. Thompson realized the problem and she was ashamed of herself. She felt even worse when her students brought her Christmas presents, wrapped in beautiful ribbons and bright paper, except for Teddy's.
His present was clumsily wrapped in the heavy, brown paper that he got from a grocery bag. Mrs. Thompson took pains to open it in the middle of the other presents. Some of the children started to laugh when she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stones missing and a bottle that was one quarter full of perfume.
But she stifled the children's laughter when she exclaimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on her wrist.
Teddy Stoddard stayed after school that day just long enough to say, "Mrs. Thompson, today you smelled just like my Mom use to."
After the children left she cried for at least an hour. On that very day, she quit teaching reading, and writing, and arithmetic. Instead, she began to teach children. Mrs. Thompson paid particular attention to Teddy.
As she worked with him, his mind seemed to come alive the more she encouraged him, the faster he responded. by the end of the year, Teddy had become one of the smartest children in the class and, despite her lie that she would love all the children the same, Teddy became one of her "teacher's pet."
A year later, she found a note under her door, from Teddy, telling her that she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life.
Six years went by before she got another note from Teddy. He then wrote that he had finished high school, third in his class, and she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life.
Four years after that, she got another letter, saying that while things had been tough at times, he'd stayed in school, had stuck with it, and would soon graduate from college with the highest of honors. He assured Mrs. Thompson that she was still the best and favorite teacher he ever had in his whole life.
Then four more years passed and yet another letter came. This time he explained that after he got his bachelor's degree, he decided to go a little further. The letter explained that she was still the best and favorite teacher he ever had. but now his name was a little longer. The letter was signed, Theodore F. Stoddard, M.D.
The story doesn't end there. You see, there was yet another letter that spring . Teddy said he'd met this girl and was going to be married. He explained that his father had died a couple of years ago and he was wondering if Mrs. Thompson might agree to sit in the place at the wedding that was usually reserved for the mother of the groom.
Of course, Mrs. Thompson did. And guess what? She wore that bracelet, the one with several rhinestones missing. And she made sure she was wearing the perfume that Teddy remembered his mother wearing on their last Christmas together.
They hugged each other, and Dr. Stoddard whispered in Mrs. Thompson's ear, "Thank you, Mrs. Thompson, for believing in me. Thank you so much for making me feel important and showing me that I could make a difference."
Mrs. Thompson, with tears in her eyes, whispered back. She said, "Teddy, you have it all wrong. You were the one who taught me that I could make a difference. I didn't know how to teach until I met you."
